Many thanks for your letter of the

24th March. I hope to arrange the discussion on the Port Trust for Friday, 29th March at 3.30 p.m. as you suggest. But if this is not possible,

I should be very glad to see you then to discuss other matters. Unless, therefore, I hear from you to the contrary, I shall expect you at 3.30 p.m. on Friday, 29th March.

I am looking into the other question raised in your letter regarding instructions concerning inoculations, etc., for wives and families of officers returning to Hong Kong and will be writing further on this as soon as I get the information for which I have asked.

SIR MARK YOUNG, G.C.M.G.
